Spring in Sofia is no longer just a season – it’s an experience! From April 11 to May 11, the Bulgarian capital will bloom into a vibrant oasis with the very first edition of Sofia Spring Fest.

The festival will take place in the park in front of the National Palace of Culture (NDK), bringing together music, art, food, nature, and joyful spring spirit in one colorful celebration.

The official opening is set for April 11 at 6:30 PM, featuring a festive event with a live performance by Divna, a DJ set, special guests, artistic installations, and delicious street food. With humor, style, and seasonal inspiration, popular host Dimitar Pavlov will set the tone for a cheerful and memorable evening.

Festival highlights include:

  • An Art Bazaar with handmade crafts and artworks
  • A Farmers’ Market showcasing local produce and delicacies
  • Creative workshops for children
  • Live performances by independent artists, musicians, and DJs from across Bulgaria

A Ferris wheel will offer visitors a unique springtime view of the city from above, while younger guests can enjoy fun rides, games, and hands-on activities designed to spark creativity and exploration.

Sofia Spring Fest will also embrace Bulgaria’s beloved springtime traditions by celebrating Lazarus Saturday, Palm Sunday, and Easter, blending them into the modern urban vibe of the festival.

Whether you’re visiting with your family, exploring the city with friends, or just looking for a cheerful place to enjoy the season, Sofia Spring Fest is open to everyone. Admission is free, and good vibes are guaranteed!
