Sofia Airport outdoor parking facilities

The new car parks cover an area of 25,000 square meters and feature designated spaces for passengers with reduced mobility, as well as charging stations for electric vehicles. The project, valued at over BGN 7 million, aims to enhance the convenience and accessibility of the airport’s infrastructure.
“The open parking lot is a key project for us and is part of Sofia Airport’s modernization and development plan. With this project, we are taking an important step towards creating a convenient and efficient infrastructure to meet the different needs of travelers,” said Jesús Caballero during the event.
Emil Angelov highlighted the rapid progress of the initiative: “Over the last six months, we have built 1,045 new parking spaces alongside the necessary adjacent infrastructure and facilities. We are proud to contribute to Sofia Airport’s modern look and are now preparing for the complete renovation of the covered car park.”
The new parking facilities include:
• P3 (Standard Parking): Ideal for short and long-term stays, operational for the past month.
• P4 (Economy Parking): A cost-effective option for long-term parking, opened today.
• P5 (Short-Stay Parking): Designed for quick pick-up and drop-off of passengers.
• P8 (Bus Parking): Dedicated to buses accommodating large groups.
With modern design and clear signage, the car parks are easy to navigate and aim to streamline traffic within the airport’s grounds.
