Museums in Sofia will work and rest differently on Easter holidays

Museums in the capital will work and rest differently during the Easter holidays. This is according to a BTA check. The National Polytechnic Museum will not accept visitors from 14 to 17 April, inclusive, the cultural institution noted on its Facebook page.
Also from 14 to 17 April will be closed the exhibition hall of the National Museum "Earth and people".

The first working day after the holidays will also be April 18 for the National Ethnographic Museum, which is part of the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Studies with the Ethnographic Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IEFEM-BAS), and the National Anthropological Museum, which is part of the Institute of Experimental Morphology, Pathology and Anthropology with the Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IEMPAP-BAS). The National Museum of Military History (NMMH) will be closed to visitors until 18 April inclusive. The first working day at the NMM will be 19 April.

The National History Museum and the National Museum of Natural History at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences will be closed only on Sunday, 16 April.

The Regional History Museum in the capital and its branches will be open their standard opening hours on 14 and 15 April (Friday and Saturday), and the days off will be 16 and 17 April (Sunday and Monday).

The National Archaeological Museum (NAM), which is part of the National Archaeological Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, will be closed only on Monday, 17 April. It will be open on Sunday, April 16 from 10:00 to 17:00, the NAM told BTA.
